Meet the Team
Dr. Joseph Chu, DDS | Endodontist
Dr. Chu's visionary leadership led to him establishing Kauai Endodontics in 2010, after graduating from New York University Dental School and specializing at Lutheran Medical Center. He has served as President of the Honolulu County Dental Society and the Kauai County Dental Society, showcasing his expertise and commitment to the dental community. Dr. Chu is dedicated to professional advancement, volunteering as an advisor for the University of Hawaii Pre-Dental Club and teaching at esteemed institutions. Currently, he contributes to the development and regulation of dental practices as a member of the Hawaii State Board of Dentistry. Beyond our local community, Dr. Chu's impact extends through meaningful medical missions, providing vital dental care in the Philippines, Nepal, and Burma.
Dr. Jordan Siegel, DDS | Endodontist
Dr. Jordan Siegel is originally from Potomac, Maryland. In 2010, he began his undergraduate academic training at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and minored in Economics. Dr. Siegel then continued his education at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 2018, graduating at the top of his class. After Dental School, Dr. Siegel moved to Miami, Florida where he received an Advanced Education in General Dentistry while serving our nations veterans at the Miami VA Hospital. Dr. Siegel then began practicing general dentistry in South Florida where he worked as an associate and cultivated his skills in general and esthetic dentistry. After two years of private practice, Dr. Siegel moved to Manhattan in the summer of 2021 to pursue his true passion in dentistry, Endodontics. At the prestigious Manhattan VA Hospital, Dr. Siegel completed a two year residency in the summer of 2023 to become a root canal specialist, or Endodontist. Dr. Siegel and his wonderful wife Tatiana were married in September 2023, in Sarasota, Florida. They are both incredibly excited to start this next chapter of their lives together on the warm and welcoming shores of Kauai.
Dr. Siegel believes it is both an honor and a privilege to provide the highest standard of care that he has cultivated through his years of training in a, high tech, comfortable, modern practice. Dr. Siegel's philosophy is that no patient should feel pain or anxiety in the dental chair and that each patient has unique and individual needs that must always be addressed and respected. In his spare time, Dr. Siegel enjoys fishing, hiking with his dogs, and playing tennis.
Lynne Lum | Office Manager
Lynne has supported Dr Chu since day one. With 13 years of experience, she makes all patients feel at ease. She loves spending time with her husband and children. Lynne has a son named Tyruss, a daughter named Tyra, and a 2 year old granddaughter named Ariya. On her days off, she babysits and enjoys most of her free time with Ariya and her dog named Raisin.
Jackie Padre | Clinical Manager/Dental Assistant
Jackie combines expertise, communication, organization, integrity, and compassion with the team. With 3 years of experience, she ensures patient comfort. Outside work, she enjoys family time, fitness, exploring new places, travelling and dining out. Jackie also balances another job to support herself and her 7-year-old son.
Maile Welsh | Dental Assistant
Maile is a beaming presence at our practice. With 1.5 years of experience as a Dental Assistant, she radiates unwavering positivity in her role and her genuine compassion shines through with patients. When she's not assisting, you can find her dedicated to fitness at the gym, indulging in culinary explorations at new restaurants, and exciting travels with her family. Maile cherishes every moment spent with her almost 14-year-old Boston Terrier.
Tyra Lum | Radiology Technician
Tyra is an X-ray technologist specialising in 2D/3D cone beam computed tomography scans. Tyra's expertise is matched only by her kindness, understanding, and natural ability to empathise with patients. Beyond her scanning duties, you can find her basking at the beach, exploring nature walks, or indulging at her favourite store - Target. Tyra shares a special bond with her longtime companion, a turtle named Bob, who she's had since she was in the 3rd grade.
Jerico (Eco) Bantigue | Customer Service
Eco supports the practice behind the scenes. New to Kauai Endo, he supports customer service and assists with scheduling dental appointments. When not scheduling appointments, he can be found traveling, surfing, or painting. Eco has 6 dogs at home and has a great passion for photography and the arts.
Bea Al-Ghalaff | Customer Service
Bea is a Dental CX and she supports the practice behind the scenes by assisting with setting dental appointments and customer service. She also assists with back-office administrative work. When not working Bea enjoys spending time with her 2 kids, playing badminton, and reading books and webtoons.
